How do you plan to navigate through the rest of the year with continued rising inflation? Do you believe you can continue to keep contribution margins between 25-26% or do you expect them to fall because of inflation?
How do you work with retention of customers? Early retention was better in the last quarter compared to 2021, although 2021 had some positive COVID-19 effect. What is the main drivers of retention for HelloFresh and how do you plan to keep raising the level of retention by customers?
Very often "moment of truth" is when ones product is delivered. I assume you work by subcontractors, how do you ensure the delevery is done properly and in the quality you need. How have you ensured your financial towards the increasing fuel prises and assumably claims from the subcontractors delivering your products.
Where do you see expansion possibilities in the future? Are you focusing on entering new markets, or are you looking at expanding to other areas such as lunch kits or are you looking to add more vegetarian and non-vegetarian meal choices?
How are you experiencing the competitiveness in the industry? During COVID-19 the number of mealkit companies were rising. Are you still experiencing high competition or do you think smaller companies will begin to struggle and maybe have to shut down during the current market conditions. Are you thinking of doing any kind of M&A in this market and take advantage of maybe lower multiples and lower scale companies struggling?
Are you experiencing a tougher marketing environment like many other companies with rising marketing costs and higher CAC?
How sensitive are your production facilities to the current energy crisis? Do you use gas in the production?
I have bought some shares in Hello Fresh.
My question is:
The high inflation is affecting many companies. How does Hello Fresh think that their market will react ? Is it still possible to maintain the profit rate ?
