Danish Approval for New Medical Cannabis CBD100 oil

Stenocare has received approval from the Danish Medicines Agency to start selling a new medical cannabis oil product to Danish patients. The new CBD100 product has a very high concentration of CBD active ingredients (100 mg/ml), and this makes Stenocare the only supplier under the Danish Pilot Programme to offer a CBD100 oil product.

Since 2018, Stenocare has been a key supplier of medical cannabis oil products under the Danish Pilot Programme, with several prescription-based products approved for sale by the Danish Medicines Agency. The newly approved CBD100 oil product marks a significant milestone in the company’s STENOCARE 3.0 strategy, which aims to position Stenocare as a leading trading company specialising in prescription based medical cannabis products.

The new CBD100 oil product offers additional options for doctors and patients who require significantly higher dosages in their treatment. The Stenocare product portfolio now includes four medical cannabis oil products for Danish patients: CBD100, CBD20, THC30, and the mixed THC15/CBD24 oil product, further solidifying Stenocare’s position as the leading supplier under the Pilot Programme.

On November 26, 2024, Stenocare announced its strategy to transform into a leading trading company for medical cannabis products. By leveraging the strong foundation built since 2017, the company aims to meet diverse patient needs with a broader range of high-quality products. The approval of CBD100 underscores Stenocare’s commitment to regulatory excellence, patient-centric innovation, and driving growth in sales.

STENOCARE Celebrates Denmark’s Permanent Legalisation of Medical Cannabis

Today, the Danish parliament formally agreed on permanent legalisation of medical cannabis. This is fantastic news for both Danish patients and Stenocare, as it ensures continued access to and the sale of medical cannabis in Denmark

The Ministry of Interior and Health announced today that the political parties have decided to permanently legalise treatment with medical cannabis in Denmark. When the Danish Pilot Programme expires in December 2025, the Danish Parliament will enact legislation to ensure the permanent legalisation of medical cannabis treatment for patients. This is fantastic news for Danish patients, who now have certainty that they can continue their treatment. For Stenocare, it also provides a positive outlook for the Danish domestic market, where the company has been a leading supplier of prescription medical cannabis since 2018.

The Minister of Interior and Health, Sophie Løhde, commented on today’s agreement:

"Medical cannabis has proven to be a sought-after alternative to authorised medication for patients with serious diseases such as cancer and multiple sclerosis. Many experiences relief from pain or nausea that can significantly improve their quality of life. And with this agreement, we ensure that patients who have not had sufficient effect from other treatments will continue to be able to be prescribed medical cannabis by a doctor in a safe environment.”

The political parties also agreed to enhance information and guidance for both doctors and patients. This includes providing treatment guidelines for doctors and permitting patients to continue driving while undergoing treatment with medical cannabis. Stenocare views this as a significant victory for Danish patients, the company, and the medical cannabis industry, as it helps to normalise medical cannabis treatment and position it alongside other forms of medication.

STENOCARE Welcomes Danish Health Minister’s Decision to Permanently Legalise Medical Cannabis for Patients

The Danish Pilot Programme for medical cannabis is set to become a permanent legalisation for the treatment of Danish patients, according to the government. Today, the Danish Health Minister invited political parties to discuss the permanent legalisation of medical cannabis in Denmark. This is excellent news for Danish patients and Stenocare, as it secures future access to and sales of medical cannabis in Denmark.

Stenocare sees this as a victory for Danish patients, Stenocare and the medical cannabis industry. The permanent legalisation will provide certainty for patients' continued treatment with medical cannabis, as it will no longer be limited to a temporary pilot programme. For the industry, the permanent legalisation will establish a clear framework for the future, offering clarity beyond December 2025 and justify investments in new products that deliver value to both doctors and patients.

Stenocare and ADREXpharma have received approval to sell a new and innovative medical cannabis oil product in Germany, set to be available for patients in the fourth quarter of 2024. 

The new product is a THC-CBD 10-10 oil in a 30 ml bottle which has the potential to address a large target group of patients in the German market. Stenocare has since 2019 been investing with partners to develop and test next generation medical cannabis oil products, that can position Stenocare as a true leader within prescription-based medical cannabis. The new product-line is branded “Astrum”, and the company has worldwide exclusivity for this patented oil technology. The company is now ready to commercialize the product in the second market (Germany). The official German product name is “Astrum 10-10 Ext Stenocare”, with 10 mg/ml THC and 10 mg/ml CBD.

Innovative product: The Stenocare Astrum product is based on an innovative oil technology, that has the potential to increase the cannabinoid’s bioavailability in the patient’s blood. STENOCARE is sharing early information about the upcoming share issue “TO2 Warrant” transaction in June 2024

STENOCARE A/S (“Stenocare”) announced a year ago (May 2023) that the company would raise capital through three different share issue transactions. The last of these transactions is the upcoming “TO2 Warrant” transaction, starting on June 10, 2024. Important: Only owners of TO2 Warrants will be able to subscribe (buy) new Stenocare shares at a 30% discount during the transaction window from June 10-21.

Stenocare like to highlight the following points about the TO2 Warrant transaction:

• Owning TO2 Warrants is a requirement for subscribing to the new Stenocare shares with a discount of 30%.
• Shareholders that subscribed for the Stenocare UNIT Right Issue during May/June 2023 also received TO2 Warrants that can now be exercised (used) or sold to the market.
• Becoming an owner of TO2 Warrants: TO2 Warrants are being traded daily and can be purchased or sold under ticker “STENO TO 2” or using the ISIN code DK0062493615.
• Each TO2 Warrant owned, entitles the owner subscribe (buy) one new Stenocare share with a discount of 30%.
• The discount arises as the subscription price for the new shares is calculated as subtracting a 30% discount of the 10-day volume weighted average price of the Stenocare mother share as traded on Nasdaq First North Growth Market Denmark in the period May 27 to June 7. The price will be announced on June 7, 2024 (after 17:00 Central European Time).
• TO2 Warrants that are NOT sold or used to subscribe for new shares with a discount before June 21 (time 17:00 CET) will become void.

Stenocare is advising current owners of TO2 Warrants to actively decide how to use their warrants.  Start by checking the actual number of TO2 Warrants owned in your account. There are four different options:

1.      Use all the TO2 Warrants to subscribe for new Stenocare shares at a 30% discount during June 10-21.

2.      Use all the TO2 Warrants and purchase additional TO2 Warrants to subscribe for more Stenocare shares at a discount.

3.      Use only part of the TO2 Warrants for new Stenocare shares at a discount and sell the remaining TO2 Warrants before June 19, 2024.

4.      Decide not to use the TO2 Warrants and sell all TO2 Warrants before June 19, 2024.
